Teenage angst.

Seriously, that’s all I got out of this movie. I know I’m going to get some flack for saying that. Because apparently everyone else seemed to love the movie. For me? I wasn’t expecting much and that’s kind of what I got. As far as strong heroines go, she seemed more like a kid. The other two star wars women seemed a lot stronger, had to deal with more, and experienced a lot more hardship/pain/loss than she did. And if for whatever the reason Ray had experienced it, it didn’t seem like it.

The feeling of the whole star wars universe wasn’t really there. And Kylo Ren just pissed me off. His entire character. I’m not sure if it was the acting, or the whiny part about trying to be like his grandfather, or the part about he seemed to have a whole lot of anger and no way to show it. If he was trying to pull of the led astray kid who was confused about right and wrong, he didn’t show it very well.

And Fin. I don’t know. It was just all weird. It seemed a bit hurriedly put together (just like this post! haha)

I don’t know if they’re good actors but I’m not a big fan of this movie (if you couldn’t tell). Still, I would say watch it so that you can all be part of the hype…
