Ok, glad to see Bradley Cooper back in his “normal” state. The type I’ve seen in his past movies such as Hangover. He was funny at times and serious at others but his overall demeanor is what got to you.
Burnt brought back some of that but it wasn’t really there. This movie didn’t have a lot of substance other than the occasional side thought outside of the kitchen. It was all about cooking, betrayal, trying to live up to one’s aspirations, cooking, betrayal, cooking, etc. You get the point. But there wasn’t a whole lot more to it. Oh and did I mention a love triangle? Weird…
Yeah it was pleasant to watch but I wouldn’t have paid for it. Wait for dvd or pass on it. I’m sure Bradley Cooper will come back with more enjoyable things later on. Let’s hope.
