I wont say a lot about this one because there isn’t too much to say. Basically, I was pleasantly surprised. In this day and age of sequels, prequels, and remakes, most everything doesn’t live up to its former glory. But this was one of the few, if not the only movie that has made it to the rare group of being a pretty awesome watch. Even better, guys would actually kind of enjoy it. Sure there were some parts that cheesy and others that were downright boring but they were few and far between. It was funny, heartwarming, and a whole lot of character building. Pitch Perfect 2 is a great way to start the summer. Now, beware there are a lot of innuendos and a few scenes that I wouldn’t happily let my 13-year-old son watch (if I had one), lots of racial comments (ones that you’ll catch and others that won’t register till later on), and a few comments there were entirely inappropriate (but funny) but overall, it was enjoyable. I wouldn’t definitely recommend this one to all movie goers. If you don’t get a chance to see it on the big screen, rent it. I’m sure you’ll love it and continue to repeat lines from the movie for the next few months or at least until you’re captivated by Jurassic World or Fantastic 2 the remake.
