Wow, definitely better than I thought it would be. I wasn’t expecting much, especially with the recent stupidness that has made its way to the screen. But this movie was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed Will Smith as a con man. Sure, there were some parts that were lame (the romance included and I don’t think they had a lot of chemistry). Yet, overall, the movie was enjoyable. There’s no real point in seeing it in IMAX, just a money ploy although if you have the extra dollar, the experience is more enjoyable. That being said, you need a movie to watch this weekend? Focus is the one to watch.

On another note, I have not and will not be seeing the Lazarus Effect. Good idea, most likely but the movie looks no better than any of the other horror movies that have made it to screen. It has attracted a lot, and I do mean a lot of middle schoolers. So it can’t be that scary or plot detailed. Anyways… next week is CHAPPIE!!! And the best part? It’s Rated R – NO KIDS.
