Dear White People

Most racist movie I’ve ever seen. This movie attacks both black and white cultures. I originally thought it was going to be a comedy but there’s nothing funny about the quote, “Black people can’t be racist. Prejudice, yes but not racist.” The worst part about this movie was that after all the badgering, there was no lesson. Nothing that said that it was wrong or that people were against it. Fights broke out but it seemed more like an encouragement. Movies like this encourage the youngest generation (who I’ve come to realize don’t know much about America’s history) to play with race. It’s not funny and it is still a problem. But it becomes a bigger problem when you egg at people’s differences. I wouldn’t watch this one. I still haven’t watched Roots because there’s no point (I am not dealing with problems like this at the moment) but as of now, I’d watch Roots before this movie.
